Tomorrow Mommy and Daddy are going to see my new brother/sister for the first time... I can't wait to hear all about it. We're really not sure what we are getting, but I don't care.

I still want some people food, it looks so delicious but Mommy and Daddy just keep saying no. I get a little taste every now and then – I like to lick the knife when daddy makes a peanut butter sandwich… he always leave a little on there. I don’t think he even realizes.

I really love sleeping with mommy and daddy… but daddy isn’t always there when I go to sleep… he’s always there when I wake up. I love to give him a little nose bump and snuggle in with him in the morning. He always tells me how good I am and rubs me until I fall asleep again.

I found a really cool place called the garage… every time somebody opens the door I try to run out there to explore. I got some grease on my back the other day from the car. Mommy hates me to be out there… she honks the car horn to try to scare me back in the house. It worked the first time, but now that I know what it is… I’m not scared anymore.

Mommy got really mad at me the other day… just cause I chewed up her cell phone charger. Well actually I chewed up two of them. The cords were so tiny that is only took a few bits to destroy them. I really didn’t mean to be destructive. What was that little tingle I felt when I took the last little bite?

I’ve got a few new stuffed toys… daddy got me a squeaky squirrel and mommy gave me a beanie kitty. The kitty is my favorite one to bite and kick.

I’m really trying to talk more… sometimes I can actually sound like I’m saying the words. I can call out really loud when I can’t find those guys in the house… but usually I’m really quite and don’t talk unless I have too.

Hey did I tell you that I fell in the bath tub the other day and had to go swimming. It was fun, but I really don't like water that much. When Mommy dried me off with the towel I really loved that though.

Well it's been almost 12.5 weeks since I was born. I'm enjoying my new Mommy and Daddy so much. They are really spoiling me with toys, things to climb on and places to sleep. During the week Daddy goes to work and Mommy and I snuggle and play all day. Then at night I try to spend some quality time with my Daddy, because I miss him during the day.

During the daytime my favorite place is my tent. They put it beside the computer and that way I can be with them and watch them work on the computer. When I'm ready to play they stop everything to watch, take pictures and laugh at my antics. I love to run and jump at full speed until I'm so tired I can take another nap. My whole day is play, eat, nap, play, eat, nap... etc. I like to sit in front of the fireplace too, because it's real warm there. My cat tree is another favorite place to play... it's real tall and I like to run up it and sit on the top, but it's not as comfortable for sleeping as the tent.

My favorite toys are things with feathers and jingle bells. Daddy has a feather on a stick that I love to play with. I can jump and run really fast. Sometimes I like to play with the curtains and blinds but Mommie always says "No" when I do that. Sometimes she has to distract me with something else to make me to forget about those curtains.

Mommy said I'm growing a little bit every day and my colors are changing some each day too. I hope I'll get big and dark like my brother Chunk.

I had some surgery last week... it didn't hurt at all. They called it "neuter" but I'm not sure what that means. Oh well, I'm sure it's because they love me so much and want me to have a nice long healthy life. It was good to get home and play with my toys and sleep some more in my tent. I don't reallly like riding in the car... because I have to sit in my carrier the whole time.

Ahhhh, time for another nap. Typing always wears me out.

I enjoyed Christmas so much. We had lots of presents to open. I enjoyed playing with all the bows the most. I really explored my new house too. Santa gave me a tent to sleep in and some new toys. My mommie and daddy love me so much.

Christmas Eve

I'm so excited about Santa Clause... with all these presents under the tree some of them have to be for me. Yesterday, Daddy's friend came over to see me. Last night I met my brother, Preston, he's a pretty neat guy. I purred when I saw him this morning because I like him. I slept all night again last night and Daddy got up with me at 6:30 AM. I really had fun playing this morning. At 10:00 AM I went to the VET to have my well baby check up. He said I'm in good health and that my breeder did a great job. I was so good and everyone in the doctor's office just loved me. I slept most of the afternoon - it was a little tiring. I saw Dr. Mark McGeough at Birkdale Animal Hospital. He was really nice to me and I could tell he likes kittys. www.birkdaleanimalhospital.com

First and Second Full Days

Since I got up so early and played hard. I decided to sleep in (all day). My Mommie got worried and called the breeder... I heard her on the phone so I decided to get up and play for about 3 hours. Then I slept all night without getting up. I woke up at 6:30 AM and decided to get something to eat. Daddy must have heard me... he got up then too. He made coffee and we played for about 2 hours. Daddy made me a special toy he called a "bow string" - it's really just a shoe string with a Christmas bow tied to the end... I had a good time with that. Then I went back to bed with Mommie. I gave Mommie a big nose bump and a really wet kiss too.

My First Day

My first day home with my new parents was full of naps, play and exploration. I finally settled down in the car when Mommy put both of her hands inside my carrier. I was able to sleep the rest of the trip. When I got home, I explored my new surroundings for a while - there was a new cat tree for me to climb and lots of toys to play with... my favorite toy is one my breeder Mommy gave me as a going away gift. It's a feather on a stick and string. After my nap, Daddy enticed me with some of my baby cat food and I gobbled it right up... then he put me down near the bowl and I pigged out and drank lots of water. I didn't want to use the new box at first so I just held it as long as I could... it became a necessity later and I was a good little boy and used it like I always have. I played hard right before bed... and I slept all the way till 2:30 AM. Then I had to use the box again... and I let Daddy know so he took me to the box and reminded me where it was. Then Daddy and I had a drink of water and we played for over an hour. Then we both laid down on the sofa under a nice soft blanket and went to sleep for a while. At 5:00 AM I wanted to play again and Daddy played with me under the blanket with his hands and got my feather toy and I chased and killed that feather for about 45 minutes. Then Daddy and I sneaked back into bed until Mommy woke up. Then she and I went our to play some more while daddy slept. It was a good first day and I feel much better about my new Mommy and Daddy now... they love me so much and they haven't left my side yet. I'm very happy now.

Me - Eight Weeks Old

My full name is "Sir Vincent Ezekial Toney". My initials spell VET... my daddy thought that was cute. He calls me "Vinny", that's a pet name he has always liked. I get to go home to my new mommie and daddy on December 21st. My brothers and sisters will miss me, but I know they are soon leaving to their new homes too. I'll get to live with my new mommie and daddy for 6 or 7 months and then they promised me I'd have a little brother or sister to live with us. Mommie and daddy had a kitty named Vanessa for 13 years but she passed away suddenly this year. I told them that I would love to come live with them and that I'd try my best to be a good friend and son to them. I licked my mommie's finger and cuddled up with her on the nice soft blanket she bought me. She knew right then that I wanted to come live with them. The next time they came to visit me... I crawled in my new daddy's lap and fell asleep with him. I can't wait till Christmas this year... I know Santa is going to be good to me. I've been such a sweet little boy this year. It's my first Christmas and I'm just so excited.
